On a very sad note, my friend Mike Tomeczko died this morning of complications with lung cancer. He was in his mid twenties and it is just the saddest news I've heard in a long time. He was a long time Starball fan and a really great guy. He was an excellent bass player and was a huge music fan. All my sympathy goes out to his family for their loss. I'm really horrified by the news as the chemotherapy seemed to be working. A note to everyone who smokes - please quit. It's not worth it.

This is Martin's dog Porridge. He is the most adorable dog you can imagine! GIves you licks non-stop. Steve and I went over to Invisible Records/studio last night and met with Steven Siebold and Martin to talk about the upcoming EP. Lots of exciting things going on and we just can't wait. We're going back on Friday to listen to more remixing and it really looks like this EP is going to be out in October! Just in time for college radio etc. We'll follow up with a full length after we tour a bit with the EP.
Can't tell you how excited we are!
